For those of you who don’t know who Sidney Eileen is, Sidney is an amazing seamstress and corset maker who has been a great source of information and inspiration to many modern corset makers. Although I have never met or spoken with her, I have used her website as an essential resource when it came to designing and constructing my own corsets. She has provided so much detailed information about the craft and I was saddened to hear about her current state of health.
This is an Indiegogo campaign started by another wonderful corset maker and enthusiast Lucy (bishonenrancher on Youtube) who is known for her instructional videos on corset wearing and making, as well as waist training. The goal is $18,000 and it still has over a month to go, so please, if you have a great love of corsetry or have benefited from Sidney’s or Lucy’s tutorials, please take the time to donate to Sidney’s recovery.
